NN Running Blind Weekend

New this year is the NN Running Blind Weekend during the NN Dam tot Damloop, an initiative by Uniek Sporten in collaboration with Nationale-Nederlanden. The NN Running Blind Weekend is the most accessible running event for people with a visual impairment. Young or old, whether you’ve been running for years or have just started.

Fully being taken care of

During the NN Running Blind Weekend, all participants and their buddies are fully supported. In the lead-up to the event, you’ll get access to special training programs to help you arrive at the start well prepared. Throughout the weekend, you can make use of dedicated reception areas and starting waves, receive guidance to and from the start location, and get a race bib with braille. Of course, many additional facilities are provided to make the experience as accessible and enjoyable as possible for these runners.
On Saturday, participants can choose between the Mini Dam tot Damlopen (1.2 or 1.6 km, especially for children) or the Damloop by Night (5 English Miles – 8 kilometers). On Sunday, the 10 English Miles (16.1 km) is on the program. During this distance, the most experienced runners with a visual impairment compete for the unofficial title of “Dutch Champion.”
